The Cylon Centurion model I built for Zoic Studios
is probably the most enduring piece of work I have
ever done. I see it in new publications and other
media sources in new ways every year since I
finished it. But while I was still working on it I offered
the cg supervisor of the project a few additional
concepts trying to head off the future possibility of
creating the next breed of centurion.

The earliest edicts from the creators of the new
series were that there should be no possibility of
the centurion being a man in a suit. I liked that
direction because it leaves the door wide open, and
this design was one of several I had finished with
color. It was meant to be very skeletal in design but
with a hiden "skull" - the shoulders form eyes and
the torso the vague shape of a face.

I was always unhappy with the feet but I plan on
redesigning and building this centurion for myself
as a project to learn some new computer
applications.
