I had worked on a film named Manticore for Scifi and was
never satisfied with the model which was outsourced
from another artist. I think there was an opportunity
missed there that required a better solution. Using
Zbrush I made a completely new version of the creature. I
still use shots from manticore on my demo reel because
I think it's some of my better creature animation to date
but the model was always something that I felt got in the
way of a better shot. This is still a work in progress as I
have to use my free time to finish it.
