This is perhaps one of the more successful designs from
a director that I have had a chance to work on. The concept
art of course was very ambitious but within the confines of
the production it was mostly faithful to the director's
wishes. In this case the director was also the conceptual
artist which in many ways made the expectations of the cgi
far more manageable. I had to leave the production after
accepting a competing offer from another studio and never
completed shots which I had started to animate.
